Additionally, Silma Nature School, located 15 km away, offers educational birdwatching hikes as well as kicksled hikes in the winter. The farm and the surrounding areas have plenty of activities to offer those who are itching to do something different and looking for an adventurous holiday.

Only 21 kilometres away from Peetri Farm is the most beautiful city in Estonia – Haapsalu – where there are plenty of things to do and discover. Those interested in history can explore the Haapsalu Castle and the Railway and Communications Museum, while the youngest bookworms of the family will love visiting Ilon’s Wonderland where they can get a glimpse into the magical worlds of Karlsson, Pippi Longstocking and other well-known characters from Astrid Lindgren’s books.

Around 38 kilometres from our farm, tucked away in the Nõva recreation area, is a picturesque forest lake with a private bonfire area. This serene lake is ideal for those who are wanting to try standup paddleboarding for the first time. In Peetri Farm, we have two portable SUP boards that you can conveniently take with you to the lake. Veskijärve campfire site at Nõva recreation area offers otherworldly views of the interesting landforms of the area, which became visible after the 2008 forest fire. You can embark on a four-kilometre hike along the trail to visit the scenic Lake Tänavjärv.

The Marimetsa trail located 30 kilometres away features a nine-kilometre out-and-back trail that runs along different landscapes: first, a forest divide, then across a meadow and through the grand spruce forest along the banks of a babbling stream, and at the end of the trail there is a boardwalk that leads you to the edge of the beautiful raised bog of Kureselja Hill.
