Horse riding and birdwatching

Peetri Farm is the Kopli Farm with beautiful horses, where you can admire the animals and also engage in horse riding. Additionally, Silma Nature School, located 15 km away, offers educational birdwatching hikes as well as kicksled hikes in the winter. The farm and the surrounding areas have plenty of activities to offer those who are itching to do something different and looking for an adventurous holiday.

Workshops

Taavet’s Cultural Farm right here in the village of Soolu is home to ‘Rehetoa Akadeemia’, a place that organises different workshops, training courses and discussion evenings. If you are interested in learning more about earthen plaster, fence building, investing or literature, this is the place for you. Clay sculpting

Therapeutic and relaxing, clay sculpting eases the mind and ignites your creativity, allowing you to create unique pottery that will remind you of the amazing vacation for years to come. Discover the City of Haapsalu

Only 21 kilometres away from Peetri Farm is the most beautiful city in Estonia – Haapsalu – where there are plenty of things to do and discover. Those interested in history can explore the Haapsalu Castle and the Railway and Communications Museum, while the youngest bookworms of the family will love visiting Ilon’s Wonderland where they can get a glimpse into the magical worlds of Karlsson, Pippi Longstocking and other well-known characters from Astrid Lindgren’s books.

Roosta Beach

Roosta Beach, the pearl of North-West Estonia, is located only 28 kilometres from Peetri Farm. Here you will have everything you need for a perfect beach day: a long white sand beach, glistening waves, kiteboarding, windsurfing, as well as refreshing drinks and snacks. For accessibility, there are boardwalks for people in wheelchairs.

Discover the nature of Lääne County

Boat and canoe trips are an excellent way to discover the extraordinary wildlife of Lääne County, and if you are interested in photography, you can also rent photography hides. Hike along Nõva forest lake

Around 38 kilometres from our farm, tucked away in the Nõva recreation area, is a picturesque forest lake with a private bonfire area. This serene lake is ideal for those who are wanting to try standup paddleboarding for the first time. In Peetri Farm, we have two portable SUP boards that you can conveniently take with you to the lake. Veskijärve campfire site at Nõva recreation area offers otherworldly views of the interesting landforms of the area, which became visible after the 2008 forest fire. You can embark on a four-kilometre hike along the trail to visit the scenic Lake Tänavjärv.

Marimetsa trail

The Marimetsa trail located 30 kilometres away features a nine-kilometre out-and-back trail that runs along different landscapes: first, a forest divide, then across a meadow and through the grand spruce forest along the banks of a babbling stream, and at the end of the trail there is a boardwalk that leads you to the edge of the beautiful raised bog of Kureselja Hill.

Palivere hiking trails

Palivere trails, with a length of 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7.3 km, can be used at different times of year for skiing, running, cycling, Nordic walking, and hiking.
